Murphy is vice president at Maryland School for Blind
The Maryland School for the Blind named William Wells Murphy vice president for programs. He will oversee personnel, legal and compliance issues for the special education school.
The Bel Air resident was executive assistant to the superintendent of the Harford County public school system. Murphy holds master's degrees from San Francisco State College and Boston College. He is an active member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the American Association for School Administrators.
Howell directs development for Babe Ruth Museum
The Babe Ruth Museum hired Beth A. Howell as director of development for the Baltimore tourist attraction. Howell formerly was grants manager for the Walters Art Gallery. A master's graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, the Baltimore resident served on the Mayor's Advisory Committee on Art and Culture.

Architects Hume, Lapointe join Grieves, Worrall
Grieves, Worrall Wright & O'Hatnick, Baltimore architects, announced that Paul L. Hume and Mark Lapointe have became associates of the firm.
Hume, a project manager, is a graduate of Syracuse University and a founding member of Baltimore Young Architects. Lapointe is also a Syracuse University graduate and project manager.

Saverino a senior counselor at Richardson, Myers
Richardson, Myers & Donofrio Inc. has retained Karen Saverino as a senior public relations counselor at the Baltimore marketing, advertising and communications firm. A College of Notre Dame of Maryland graduate, she formerly was director of marketing and public relations for Agora Inc., a Baltimore newsletter and book publisher. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Public Relations Society of America and the Baltimore Public Relations Council.
Reeves Agency names May senior art director
The Reeves Agency named Robert E. May Jr. senior art director for the Baltimore marketing communications house. A Towson University graduate, he formerly was with the Blakeslee Group.

Johnson executive VP, COO at Harbor Bank of Maryland
Harbor Bank of Maryland appointed Lester W. Johnson executive vice president and chief operating officer for the Baltimore financial institution. He had been senior vice president and chief credit officer for the Industrial Bank of Washington. A graduate of Howard University, he is a past president of the National Bankers Association and the National Association of Urban Bankers.

Supik chief financial officer for Keswick Multi-Care
Keswick Multi-Care Center named Patricia A. Supik as chief financial officer. Formerly with Catholic Charities as administrator of St. Elizabeth Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, the Bel Air resident is a graduate of the University of Baltimore.
