A Bowie man was critically wounded in a stabbing early yesterday in front of a house in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County police said.

Thomas Edward Long, 33, of the 12000 block of Chesney Lane was in critical condition yesterday at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with wounds to the chest and abdomen.

Police charged Brian Keith Young, 29, of the first block of Davis Court in Glen Burnie with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Long arrived home about 3: 30 a.m. and got into an argument, police said. He was stabbed after he was chased into the street, police said.

Young surrendered to police when police arrived.
