THE BALTIMORE SUN

Police said yesterday they had no suspects and were seeking a motive in the fatal shooting of a man early Wednesday in Southwest Baltimore.

Detective Joseph Phelps said Anthony Hall, 21, of the 2000 block of Hollins St. was in the 2000 block of Boyd St. about 2 a.m. when he was shot several times in the upper body with a semiautomatic handgun. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Phelps said cassette tapes found at the scene may have been dropped by Hall during an altercation.

Anyone with information is urged to call the homicide squad at 410-396-2100.
