Montgomery County police have identified a body found Wednesday afternoon in Quince Orchard Valley Neighborhood Park in Gaithersburg as that of a 15-year-old Gaithersburg youth missing since Labor Day.

Kirill Y. Varnovatyy was reported missing by his family on Sept. 7 after he was last seen by his grandmother at the family home on Midline Court, said Officer Derek Baliles, a county police spokesman.

A teen-ager riding a dirt bike near Seneca State Park found the youth's partially decomposed body next to a small stream. Authorities declined to say how or when the youth died, but his death has been ruled a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call 301-217-4160.
