Talamantes is treasurer of Sinclair Broadcast Group
Sinclair Broadcast Group promoted Patrick J. Talamantes to treasurer; he was most recently the media company's director of corporate finance. Before that, he was treasurer of River City Broadcasting, which was acquired by Sinclair.
From 1986 to 1995, Talamantes held various positions in Global Bank with Chemical Banking Corp. He is an MBA graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
GBC names Smith member services director
Greater Baltimore Committee named Alice C. Smith director of member services. She will manage and market the group's member services and direct member recruitment. She formerly was executive director of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra. The Catonsville resident is a graduate of the College of Wooster (Ohio).
Lauri Weiner a director at Villa Julie College
Villa Julie College appointed Lauri Weiner assistant director of career services for the Stevenson college. Formerly a practicing attorney, the Owings Mills resident is a University of Maryland law graduate and has a master's degree from Bowling Green State University.

NationsBank names Currie consumer banking executive
NationsBank Corp. named Janet Currie consumer bank executive for the metropolitan Baltimore region. Formerly with J. P. Morgan, she joined the bank in 1993 as a banking center manager in Prince George's and Montgomery counties. Currie is an MBA graduate of New York Universi- ty.

Handwerger, Kelley get posts at accounting firm
Peacock, Condron, Anderson & Co., Columbia-based accountants and consultants, appointed Scott Handwerger accounting supervisor and Colleen Kelley data systems manager.
Handwerger is a certified public accountant and has a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He will supervise staff field work and assist in preparing financial reports and taxes. Kelley will coordinate database systems for the firm and its marketing clients. She formerly was a reservations manager for Hyatt Regency.

Nottingham names Credit executive vice president
Nottingham Properties named J. Joseph Credit executive vice president of the commercial real estate development firm and of Nottingham Village Inc. He will direct the firm's commercial development projects and acquisitions. A University of Virginia MBA graduate, he lives in Hunt Valley.
