Clark MacKenzie stormed past two opponents yesterday to reach the quarterfinals of the U.S. Senior Amateur championship for the second time in three years at Skokie Country Club in Glencoe, Ill.

MacKenzie, 57, from Cockeysville and the Green Spring Valley Hunt Club, defeated Donald Dupske, of Kirkwood, Mo., 4 and 3, and Todd Lusk, of Baton Rouge, La., 2 and 1.
