Harford Co. man dies in lot after car catches fire

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A Harford County man died Saturday night when the car he was driving on the parking lot of a Towson-area nursing center burst into flames after striking several trees, said a Baltimore County police spokesman.

Spokesman Bill Toohey said Michael Moskowitz, 33, of the 700 block of Annatana Drive in Forest Hill, was driving a 1989 Pontiac Firebird on the parking lot of Manor Care nursing home in the 7000 block of N. Charles St. about midnight Saturday when the vehicle left the lot, struck several trees and caught fire.

Toohey said Moskowitz, who did not work at the nursing home and was not visiting anyone there, was pronounced dead at the scene and that his death has been ruled accidental, pending an autopsy.
