"I enjoyed reading the 'Madeline' books by Ludwig Bemelmans because each book is about a girl named Madeline and 11 other girls who always walked in two straight lines. The stories taught me about the city of Paris. I am going to see the movie with my grandmother. We can then compare the books with the movie. I would love to go to Paris someday."

"One of my favorite books is 'The Librarian from The Black Lagoon' by Mike Thaler. It is about a mean librarian. She won't let you breathe. At the end she was nice."
