Mount Airy: Firefighters responded at 9: 50 p.m. Monday to a possible lightning strike in the first block of Paradise Ave. Units were out one hour.

Mount Airy: Firefighters assisted Frederick County at 9: 43 p.m. Monday at a house fire in the 12000 block of Knoll Road. Units were out one hour.

Mount Airy: Firefighters responded at 11: 13 a.m. Saturday to a child locked in a car in the 1100 block of Village Gate Court. lTC Units were out 30 minutes.

Winfield: Firefighters from Winfield, Sykesville and Gamber responded at 8: 13 a.m. Saturday to farm machinery on fire next to a barn in the 5200 block of Freter Road. Units were out one hour.
