Central District
Robbery: A 40-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint at a hotel in the 100 block of W. North Ave. at 12: 40 a.m. Tuesday. She was staying in the hotel when someone claiming to be a hotel employee knocked on her door, threatened her with a knife and took $18.
Shooting: A man opened fire on two women sitting on steps in the 700 block of Lenox St. at 2: 15 a.m. Tuesday. The women, ages 18 and 20, were treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Northern District
Robbery: A pizza delivery man was assaulted and robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash by two men at 9: 50 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of 23rd St.
Towson Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered the Baltimore County library in the 1000 block of Taylor Ave., ripped the door off a safe and removed $150 between 5: 30 p.m. Tuesday and 6: 15 a.m. yesterday.
Burglary: Someone took two laptop computers worth $9,000 from a Baltimore County government office in the first block of Investment Place on Aug. 27 or Friday.
Essex Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a house through a window in the 400 block of Shade Tree Road and stole an electric guitar, acoustic guitar, amplifier and fax machine. The burglary was reported Tuesday.
