An article in Thursday's Anne Arundel County editions of The Sun incorrectly described the role of county police in chasing a motorist on Interstate 97 near Crownsville.

State, not county, officers set up a rolling roadblock to try to stop the motorist, according to Officer Carol Frye, county police spokeswoman.

The Sun regrets the error.
