Northeastern District
Assault: An unidentified man was in serious but stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday after someone struck him on the head and upper torso with a baseball bat about 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 5600 block of Albanene Place. The man was unable to tell police who assaulted him or why.
Western District
Shooting: A man and woman were walking in the 600 block of Brice St. about 10 p.m. Tuesday when a passenger in a passing car fired several shots, hitting them in the legs. Both were treated at Shock Trauma. No arrests had been made.
Southwestern District
Burglary: Compact discs, a cassette player, candles and other property, all valued at nearly $800, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 100 block of North Bend Road.
Burglary: A television and videocassette recorder, all valued at $700, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3000 block of Clifton Ave.
Central District
Robbery: A man in the 400 block of E. Baltimore St. was assaulted about 2 a.m. Tuesday by another man and robbed of $30.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Allright Baltimore Parking in the 400 block of W. Redwood St. of more than $100 about 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Robbery: A man, 54, in the 200 block of W. Fayette St. was robbed about 9: 30 p.m. Tuesday of $3 by two men.
Robbery/arrest: A man was arrested about 11 a.m. Tuesday after he threatened a woman, 39, with a stick and robbed her of $10 in the 500 block of Dolphin St.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a woman, 34, of $10 in the 2100 block of Division St. on Tuesday. Minutes later, one suspect was arrested.
Robbery: A man with a knife robbed another man of a watch and $3 in the 200 block of E. Eager St. about 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Eastern District
Theft/arrest: Someone stole a laptop computer valued at $3,000 from an office at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the 600 block of N. Wolfe St. on Tuesday. A man, 32, was stopped by a security officer as he was about to leave the building. The item was identified and the man was arrested.
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a house Tuesday in the 1900 block of Mountain Road and destroyed dishes and pictures on the walls and knocked holes in walls. A bicycle seat was stolen.
Burglary: A TV, VCR, coins and video games, all valued at more than $900, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2100 block of Townhill Road. A brown pickup truck seen parked outside the house was being sought.
Robbery: A deliveryman behind the Super Fresh market in the 2400 block of Cleanleigh Drive was robbed by a gunman of $8 and a set of keys about 4: 30 a.m. Tuesday.
Cockeysville Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of E. Padonia Road on Tuesday and stole $80 from a safe.
