Positive and negative

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Sculptor Fitzhugh Cassidy creates both fantasy forms and utilitarian objects from a combination of industrial materials and found objects. Photographer Gordon Risk makes multiple-image works that possess an air of mystery. Works by the two artists form the show "Positive Negatives" at the Main Street Gallery in Annapolis. The title comes from the fact that the works of both artists explore the relationship between positive form and negative space.

At Main street Gallery, 109 Main St., Annapolis, through Aug. 31. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. For information call 410-280-2787.
