Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 7: 47 p.m. Saturday to a fire alarm in the 6600 block of Wexford Lane. Units were out 23 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters assisted Howard County at 6: 50 p.m. Friday with a report of an odor of gas in a building in the 12000 block of Frederick Road. Units were out 12 minutes.
