Man, 80, killed, 2 hurt in Reisterstown crash

An 80-year-old Brooklandville man was killed, and his wife and another woman were injured yesterday morning when the car he was driving and another vehicle collided at an intersection in Reisterstown, Baltimore County police reported.

James Leon Haines of the first block of Trelawny Court was killed in the 8: 20 a.m. accident at Brian Daniel Court and Westminster Pike. His wife, Angela Haines, 74, was in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The other driver, Carla Akins, 32, whose address was not divulged, was in stable condition at Carroll County General Hospital.
