Suspect being held on sex charges involving 15-year-old boy in Harford Man accused of using Internet to lure teen

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Harford County sheriff's deputies arrested a 40-year-old Belcamp man yesterday on a sex charge involving a 15-year-old boy he is accused of luring to his home using the Internet, authorities said.

Joseph Donald McMonagle was arrested about 4: 30 p.m. at his home in the 1400 block of Tarragon Court and was being held last night at the Harford County Detention Center in lieu of a $75,000 bond, authorities said. Investigators from the sheriff's office searched McMonagle's home Thursday after receiving information from a teen-age boy, said Sgt. Gary Vernon of the sheriff's office. The deputies seized computer equipment during the search, he said.

"The investigation is continuing," Vernon said.
