Last week: Leonard Thompson won the Coldwell Banker Burnet Classic at Coon Rapids, Minn., holing a 3-foot birdie putt on the second hole of a playoff with Isao Aoki. Thompson finished with a 6-under 66 to match Aoki at 10-under 134 in the rain-shortened tournament.
Skinny: Hale Irwin, skipping the tournament to play in the PGA Championship, leads the money list with $2,101,750. He has five victories this year.
