Indians update
The defending AL champions remain a byproduct of baseball's toxic waste division. In the American League Central, the Indians would be leading with a .500 record. Instead, despite ranking third in the league in ERA and fifth in runs scored, they are 28-28 since June 9 while adding two games to their division lead. They have lost six of 10. The Indians are 16-17 since the All-Star break. Only 1-3 against the Indians this season, the Orioles need to reverse a trend that has seen them allow 61 base runners in the four games. Orioles pitching has surrendered 6.70 runs against Cleveland. The Indians' rotation continues to heal. Chad Ogea (tendinitis) is eligible to come off the disabled list tomorrow but may first go on a rehab start. Burba, Saturday's starter, left an Aug. 4 start with elbow tendinitis and a strained hamstring.
