'Madness' grabs Laurel feature

Racing head-to-head with post-time favorite Jeanies Rob from the start, Sejm's Madness sped away in the stretch yesterday to win by 1 1/2 lengths in the $40,000 Prince George Park Stakes for 2-year-olds at Laurel Park.

Both horses broke alertly, seting quick fractions of 22 seconds and : 45 3/5, but Sejm's Madness, owned by Gilbert Campbell, straightened at the top stretch and drew clear. Perfect Score raced in mid-pack and finished third.

Sejm's Madness posted an upset mutuel of $24.20 and completed an 8-7 exacta of $111.80. Completing the order of finish were: Search For Luv, Iron Pyrite, Skootin Skooter, Waller, Shot Gun Frank and Independent Guy.
