An Annapolis merchant has disposed of his entire stock of
curling irons to Spanish prisoners to be used to curl their mustaches. -- The Sun, Aug. 1, 1898.
George M. Killman, 55, Annapolis, died at the National Soldiers Home in Hampton, Va. He served in the Union army during the late war. His brother, Richard, was a Confederate. -- The Sun, Aug. 10, 1898.
