La Reine's Terms and Carnivorous Habit, two Maryland-bred colts who are newcomers to the turf course, share honors in first running of the Awad Stakes. The $50,000-added event will be contested at 1 1/8 miles.

The event is named in honor of the powerful 8-year-old Maryland-bred which is to stand at stud next year at the Northview Stallion Station in Cecil County.

Tomorrow Jeanies Rob, a shipper from Ohio, joins 11 others in the Prince Georges Park Stakes, a 6-furlong event for 2-year-olds with a purse of $40,000.
