3 boys charged in shed break-ins in Rosedale area

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Three boys have been arrested and charged with numerous counts of burglary for allegedly stealing power tools, bicycles, firearms and other items from dozens of residential sheds in the Rosedale area.

Police, who did not release the boys' names because they are juveniles, said they were 12, 14 and 15.

Police believe the boys broke into 120 sheds in the Rosedale area from July 17 to 30.

Nothing was taken from some of the sheds, said county police spokesman Bill Toohey, and some of the stolen property has been recovered.

Toohey said the boys were arrested Wednesday and were being held yesterday at the Thomas J. S. Waxter Children's Center in Laurel.

Police expect to make more arrests, he said.
