Blue Jays: Shortstop Felipe Lopez, Toronto's first-round pick in the June draft, agreed to terms. The 18-year-old Lopez, who was selected 18th overall, batted .521 with seven homers, 28 RBIs, 35 runs scored and 35 stolen bases in his senior season for Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, Fla.

Yankees: Pitcher Andy Pettitte, who missed a start earlier this week due to tightness in his left shoulder, is scheduled to throw from the Yankee Stadium bullpen mound today to determine whether he can make his scheduled start on Sunday.
