Two men rob apartment of Randallstown woman Second home invasion in county in two days

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Two men surprised a Randallstown woman as she was leaving her apartment yesterday morning, forcing her back inside and robbing her in what was the second Baltimore County home invasion in two days, county police said.

Angelene Elem of the 3900 block of Noyes Circle had turned to lock her door about 7: 30 a.m., when the men pushed her and her 7-year-old son back inside, police said. Pointing a gun at her, one demanded, "Where is the money?"

After she said she had no money, the men tied up Elem and the boy and ransacked the apartment. Police said the men left with her purse and said, "Tell [the boy's father], 'Thank you.' "

On Wednesday -- in what police said appeared to be an unrelated crime -- a Woodlawn couple was awakened by two gunmen who stole $1,100.

That home invasion occurred about 6: 30 a.m., when two masked men burst into a bedroom in a home in the first block of Janper Court where Terese Ann Harvey, 37, and Diego Amparol, 33, were sleeping.
