Southern District
Carjacking: After a woman parked her tan four-door 1991 Dodge with tags FHY 351 in the 1000 block of S. Carey St. about 4: 40 p.m. Wednesday because of a noisy muffler, two men, one with a handgun, forced her away from the vehicle and drove off in it.
Eastern District
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 700 block of Bartlett Ave. on Wednesday and stole a videocassette recorder valued at $400.
Burglary: Stereo equipment, cash and a television were stolen from the basement bedroom of a house in the 1100 block of E. 20th St. on Wednesday.
Theft: A deliveryman for Churchill Distributors in the 7600 block of Energy Parkway in Anne Arundel County was about to take three cases of liquor into a store in the 2200 block of E. Fayette St. about 9 a.m. Wednesday when two men approached and asked what he was doing. Before he could answer, the two men grabbed two cases of liquor valued at nearly $250 and fled.
Northern District
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Blythewood Road on Wednesday morning through a window and stole at least two silver settings valued at $20,000. Many of the pieces were engraved with the initials MRB and MCR.
Burglary: A 27-inch television, videocassette recorder, microwave oven and an air conditioner were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2900 block of Independence Ave. At least two people entered the dwelling after removing the air conditioner from a window.
Theft: An air conditioner valued at $200 was stolen Wednesday from a window in a house in the 800 block of Gorsuch Ave.
Burglary: Cash and coins, all valued at $30, were stolen Wednesday from Standard Cleaners & Tailors in the 3100 block of St. Paul St.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Pak International Market in the 300 block of E. 33rd St. of $60 about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
North Point Precinct
Burglary/arrest: A man, 22, was arrested yesterday and charged with entering a home in the 7300 block of Holabird Ave. between July 22 and July 28 and stealing a watch and stereo equipment, all valued at $1,000. Police said the burglary was reported yesterday and the property was recovered from a pawn shop. The thief entered the home through a window.
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: A diamond ring valued at $600 and $150 were stolen Wednesday from the bedroom of a house in the first block of Bexleigh Court. The thief entered the dwelling through a door.
Robbery: A male, 15, was in the 8600 block of Walther Blvd. about midnight Wednesday when five other youths, one with a handgun, robbed him of a gold chain valued at $30.
Towson Precinct
Burglary: A telephone and an answering machine were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1100 block of Charles View Way. The thief entered through a window.
Cockeysville Precinct
Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $10,000 was stolen from Tele-care Service at the C L C Building in the 2400 block of York Road overnight Tuesday. The thief entered through a door.
