Two different worlds Theater

THE BALTIMORE SUN

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival continues with tonight's opening of "The Bards of Scranton" at Fell's Point Corner Theatre. Written by first-time festival playwright John Wallace Teahan, this comedy focuses on a pair of writers who work for an X-rated magazine in Scranton, Pa., and discover that fantasy and reality can be worlds apart.

Tony Gallahan directs a cast headed by Gareth Kelly and Ben Thomas, as the magazine writers, and also including Kristen Brennan, Steven Lenet, Mark Lewis, David Manning and Ali Silbert.

Show times at Fell's Point Corner, 251 S. Ann St., are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 7 p.m. Sundays, through Aug. 16. Tickets are $10 and $11. Call 410-276-7837.
