Ducky race

Cheer on thousands of colorful duckies as they race to the finish line at Cascade Lake in Hampstead Sunday. The annual Rubber Ducky Race, sponsored by Carroll Hospice, an affiliate of Carroll County General Hospital, pits ducky against ducky in a benefit swim. Participants can adopt a rubber ducky for a $10 donation and then watch it race to victory. Other activities include rides on the Cascade Lake water slide, live music, games, face-painting, clowns, magicians, a visit from the Oriole Bird, free food and more.

The race takes place Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cascade Lake, 3000 Snydersburg Road, Hampstead. $10 ticket includes one rubber ducky entry in the race and admission to all events. Tickets available at Cascade Lake Sunday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. or by calling 410-871-8000. For Cascade Lake information, call 410-374-9111.
