David-Allen Ryan,50, who was known as "Chico" Ryan when he sang and played bass with the 1950s revival group Sha Na Na, died Sunday in Boston. The cause of death was not made public.

Binnie Barnes,95, a glamorous British-born character actress whose big break came in the 1933 Charles Laughton film "The Private Life of Henry VIII," died Monday in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Alfred M. Feiler,77, an engineer who helped billionaire Howard Hughes design the huge wooden aircraft the Spruce Goose, died July 7 of a heart attack in Los Angeles.

Gladys A. Perdue,100, the first black woman to graduate from the New England Conservatory of Music, died July 23 in Boston.
