Help your child make learning fun by role playing or acting. Choose a concept or theme such as a historical event, a favorite person or a favorite subject (such as math). Have your child act out the concept and share it with you. For example, he or she could be a teacher giving you a silly lesson, or he might pretend to demonstrate a math concept by being a chef and doubling the recipe ingredients. Make props from items and clothing found around the house and invite other members of the family to join in or watch the theatrics.
