Mount Airy: Firefighters assisted Frederick County at 7: 30 a.m. Monday, responding to a fire alarm on West Main Street in New Market. Units were out four minutes.

Mount Airy: Firefighters responded at 6: 31 p.m. Monday to a brush fire at 14132 Shirley Bohn Road. Units were out 30 minutes.
