The skinny: Started playing lacrosse at age 6. He followed in the footsteps of his father, who was on the Australian national team in the 1960s but did not play. This is the second World Championships for Keen. He was named the Best Goalkeeper and selected for the All-World team in the 1990 competition, NTC played in his hometown. Keen has also made his mark as a javelin thrower, competing in the 1986 and 1990 Commonwealth Games. He also qualified for the Olympics but did not play because he was injured. After this tournament he plans to retire from international competition. He now runs a family business in security, which sells doors, locks and other items.
