A visually impaired man was killed yesterday when he was struck by a van while running across West North Avenue near Eutaw Place, police said.

Sgt. Paul Davis said Graylin Quinn, 42, whose address was not available, and another man were running across the 1000 block of W. North Ave. about 4: 15 p.m. when Quinn was struck by a westbound 1992 Mazda mini-van.

Davis said pedestrian error contributed to the accident.
