Howard County Historical Society will sponsor a genealogy workshop for beginners from 6: 30 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the society's library, 8328 Court Ave., Ellicott City.

The workshop will be led by Lorna Duane Smith.

A $5 donation to the library is requested.
