Braves: Curtis Pride, activated from the DL Tuesday, started in right field. The back-to-back homers by Andres Galarraga and Ryan Klesko marked the ninth time this season the Braves have hit consecutive homers.

Brewers: The club signed pitcher Michael Penney, its eighth-round selection in the June free-agent draft. Penney, from USC, has been assigned to Helena of the Pioneer League.

Expos: Rondell White is the only player to start in all 93 games.

Mets: With Bernard Gilkey leading off, the Mets used their 78th lineup in 89 games.
