Northeastern District
Arrests: Police raided 11 houses in the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello neighborhood yesterday and arrested four men on drug charges and seized three handguns and more than $7,000. Lt. Paul Sheppard said the area was targeted because of several recent shootings and homicides. In the basement of a house in the 2600 block of Aisquith St., a man was arrested as he placed suspected cocaine in vials for sale. The four men were charged with possession of drugs with intent to distribute and were being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center pending bail hearings.
Southern District
Assault: A man and his girlfriend were arguing outside their home in the 3500 block of Seventh St. in Brooklyn on Tuesday when the man threw a barbecue grill at the woman, burning her face with hot charcoals and cutting her face. The woman refused medical treatment, and no arrest had been made.
Central District
Rape: Police were seeking a man who forced a woman, 18, into an alley behind the 1600 block of Park Ave. about 2: 30 p.m. Tuesday and raped her at knifepoint. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.
Eastern District
Stolen car: A green 1991 Mitsubishi Mirage with tags EYX 175 was stolen Tuesday in the 2000 block of Kennedy Ave.
Northwestern District
Burglary: A videocassette recorder, combination compact disc player/stereo receiver, two televisions, jewelry and a camera were stolen from a house in the 3900 block of Hilton St. on Tuesday.
Northern District
Robbery: An unarmed man robbed Charm City Furniture & Mattresses in the 3000 block of Greenmount Ave. of more than $100 Tuesday.
White Marsh Precinct
Burglary: Two televisions, two videocassette recorders and a CD player were stolen from a house in the 4400 block of MacWorth Place Tuesday by someone who entered through a window.
Essex Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the 2500 block of Holly Neck Road on Tuesday and stole a bicycle, lawn tractor and a telephone, all valued at more than $1,700.
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered the High's dairy store in the 10000 block of Harford Road on Tuesday after forcing the door and cutting the burglar alarm lines and stole $100.
Cockeysville Precinct
Robbery: A woman, 40, was at Sherwood Road and Topsfield Drive about 1 p.m. July 6 when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $35, after asking her for a light. The woman reported the robbery Tuesday.
