State police last night arrested two Catonsville-area boys who allegedly threw rocks from shrubbery onto the outer loop of Interstate 695 near Edmondson Avenue and struck three tractor-trailers, injuring a passenger in one truck.
The boys, ages 13 and 15, were arrested about 7 p.m. at their homes based on information from witnesses, said Trooper William George of the Golden Ring barracks.
George said the youths were charged as juveniles with assault, destruction of property and reckless endangerment before being released to their parents.
