Volunteers sought to repair homes beginning Monday

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Carroll County Christian Workcamp, a group that repairs the homes of low-income residents, will be held Monday to July 26.

This is the camp's 50th year of helping county residents.

Volunteers to work as little as a half-day or all week are needed.

Workers will meet at 7 a.m. each day at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 4911 Woodbine Road, about a half-mile south of Liberty Road in Winfield.

Volunteers with even minimal skills in painting, carpentry or other household skills are needed. Volunteers do not need to belong to a church to participate.

Donations to purchase supplies also are needed.

Anyone interested in participating should go to the church Monday morning,or call Barb Conaway at 410-795-6136.
