In an obituary for Elijah Pitts in July 10 editions, the Associated Press reported erroneously that he became the first player to rush for a touchdown in the first Super Bowl. Although Pitts scored two rushing touchdowns in Green Bay's 35-10 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, the first rushing touchdown was scored by Jim Taylor of the Packers.
