TRIPLE-A INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE
Rochester 4, Indianapolis 3: Willis Otanez hit a home run, his 18th, off Brian Keyser (4-4) in a three-run fourth inning that rallied the visiting Red Wings. Steve Ontiveros (5-1) got the victory. Bobby Munoz got his ninth save.
DOUBLE-A EASTERN LEAGUE
New Britain 10, Bowie 8: Chad Moeller paced a ferocious comeback effort as the visiting Rock Cats rallied from an 8-1 deficit.
The Baysox struck for seven runs in the bottom half of the second inning. Jim Foster stroked a two-run double down the third-base line, Jesse Garcia and Ryan Minor picked up RBI singles, and Calvin Pickering hit a bases-loaded double as the Baysox opened a 7-1 lead. Foster also hit a home run in the bottom of the third.
J. J. Johnson and Moeller hit consecutive home runs in the top of the fourth to bring New Britain to 8-3. Jacque Jones capped a four-run New Britain rally in the fifth inning with a two-run homer to right.
New Britain finally took the lead in the sixth. Moeller reached on a throwing error by shortstop Augie Ojeda and advanced to second when Israel Paez walked. Both scored on Dan Cey's triple into the right-field corner off loser Jason Rogers (0-2).
SINGLE-A CAROLINA LEAGUE
Prince William 3, Frederick 2: Chris Martine's two-run homer in the ninth carried the visiting Cannons.
Greg Montgomery (5-1) picked up the win for the Cannons by recording the final two outs in the eight. Jose De Leon retired the side in the ninth to earn his 11th save.
SINGLE-A SOUTH ATLANTIC LEAGUE
Hagerstown 4, Delmarva 0: Lorenzo Bagley drove in two runs, and Clayton Andrews (7-6) and Matt Weimer combined on a three-hitter, as the Suns shut out the visiting Shorebirds. Matt Riley (2-1) took the loss. He struck out 14 over six innings, but gave up all four runs in the first.
