A group of Eldersburg residents is sponsoring Longaberger basket bingo to benefit the Karin Young Trust Fund.

The bingo will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 915 Liberty Road, Eldersburg. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Twenty games will be offered, with baskets filled with merchandise from local businesses as prizes. Door prizes will be awarded and raffles will be held. Optional cards will be sold for special bingo.

Young was paralyzed in a skiing accident last winter. She has a husband and two small children.
