Citizens Bank announces Web site, Internet shopping

Citizens National Bank, with headquarters in Laurel, has announced its new Web site, www.mercantile.net/citizens.

The site offers the convenience of shopping for bank products over the Internet. Customers can preview the full range of the bank's services, including checking and savings accounts, debit cards, trust and investment services, commercial account services, personal and commercial lending and branch hours and locations.

Customers may contact the bank by e-mail to request information or make an appointment.

The bank, founded in 1890, is a locally managed $555 million bank with 17 offices in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. It is an affiliate of Mercantile Bankshares Corporation.

People

Edwin B. McKee has been promoted to senior vice president at CFBank (Commercial & Farmers), a community bank based in Howard County. He will also serve as vice president of Founders Mortgage Company, a CFBank subsidiary. He will continue his duties as secretary to the board of directors for Patapsco Valley Bancshares, CFBank's parent company. McKee, who joined the bank in 1984, is based at the bank's main office in Ellicott City and lives in Ellicott City.
