THE BALTIMORE SUN

Three women were killed in two separate car accidents yesterday, State Police reported.

In the first accident, two Calvert County women were fatally injured when their Chevrolet Cavalier swerved into the path of an oncoming dump truck about 10 a.m. on Route 765 in Prince Frederick, according to police.

The deceased were identified as Elizabeth L. Frazer, 48, of Chesapeake Beach, and Barbara Gaetano, also 48, of Huntingtown.

The driver of the dump truck, DeSale Dade, was treated for minor injuries and released from Calvert Memorial Hospital, police said.

The third woman was killed and two of her companions were injured when their car ran off Interstate 95 in Harford County, hit a guardrail and overturned last night, police said.

The deceased was listed as a passenger in the vehicle.

Tfc. Mike Smart, a police spokesman, said the accident occurred about 8 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 just south of Havre de Grace.

Police had not released the identity of the victims pending notification of relatives.

The survivors were taken to area hospitals with undisclosed injuries.
