Columbus 6, Rochester 4: Chris Singleton hit a three-run homer and Angel Ramirez added a bases-empty shot, powering the host Clippers over the Red Wings.
Singleton's homer in the bottom of the third off Rochester starter Everett Still (0-2) gave the Clippers a 5-1 lead.
Frank Lankford (1-2) got the win,allowing four runs and five hits in five innings.
Jose Alberroworked a scoreless inning for his first save.
Charlie Greenedrove in two runs for the Red Wings. Stull gave up six runs -- five earned -- and seven hits in 3 2/3 innings.
DOUBLE-A EASTERN LEAGUE
Bowie 6, New Britain 4: The Baysox rallied for six unanswered runs in the last three innings to overcome a four-run deficit.
A double by Tim Clark and singles Johnny Isom and Jim Foster produced the winning run in the top of the ninth against reliever J.C. Romero (4-2). Kevin Gallaher (2-0) picked up the win in relief.
Jason Bell pitched six perfect innings for New Britain, but Bowie (37-42) reached him for four runs in the seventh.
Torii Hunter drove in two runs for New Britain (47-32).
