'Star Wars' and fireworks

Relax under the stars while listening to music from the "Star Wars" trilogy, "Star Trek" and "E.T." when the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra continues its summer season at Oregon Ridge Park on Saturday with a space-age celebration. Topping off the evening will be a fireworks display. The park opens at 4 p.m.; the concert starts at 8 p.m. Free shuttle bus service is available from Hunt Valley Mall. Jazz in the sculpture garden

Baltimore trumpeter Dontae Winslow presents his own mix of jazz, hip-hop and funk at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Baltimore Museum of Art's Sculpture Garden, Art Museum Drive at Charles Street. Powwow

Learn about Native American culture this weekend at a powwow at the Howard County Fairgrounds. Indian dancers in native regalia, drummers and crafts demonstrations highlight the two-day event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. You'll also be able to sample such delicacies as buffalo stew, fried bread and Indian corn soup. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for children and seniors. Call 410-442-1022.

'Ruddigore'

Enjoy an operetta with all the elements - mistaken identity, jealousy, duty and, of course, love - when the Young Victorian Theatre Company opens its 28th season with the Gilbert and Sullivan classic "Ruddigore" at Bryn Mawr School's Centennial Hall, 109 W. Lego truck show

The Lego 25th anniversary truck show rolls into the Inner Harbor's Rash Field today, and visitors are invited to tour the 48-foot trailer filled with displays and a hands-on play area through Sunday. On Saturday, kids 5-12 can bring their Lego creations to the show from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to compete for the "Best Lego Builder in Baltimore" title, a $1,000 savings bond and the chance to build in the national championship. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. today 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. Call 800-651-0323.

Enter the ESPN Zone

The ESPN Zone sports-theme restaurant at the Inner Harbor's Power Plant celebrates its opening Saturday with a free sports festival from noon to 7 p.m. that includes a charity hole-in-one contest, basketball shootout and skateboard and ski-jump exhibitions. The activities will be followed by a motorcade of celebrities down Pratt Street led by the Ravens Marching Band and cheerleaders that ends at 7:45 p.m. at the restaurant. Call 410-685-3776.

Visiting ships

Three visiting ships will be docked in Baltimore's harbor throughout the week, opening their decks for tours. The U.S.S. John Hancock, a 563-foot U.S. Navy destroyer, will be moored at Pier 3 at North Locust Point tomorrow through Wednesday. The H.S. Aris, a 328-foot Greek navy training ship, will be anchored along the Inner Harbor's west wall Saturday through July 18 and will welcome visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. through July 17. The HMS Montrose, a 436-foot United Kingdom frigate, arrives at Broadway Pier Wednesday and departs July 20. Visiting hours are 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. July 18-19. The ships' visit is sponsored by Sail Baltimore, and admission is free. Call 410-837-4636.
