Buffalo 7, Rochester 1: Rocky Coppinger took his first loss in his second start with the Red Wings, who managed only four hits before 9,471 against the host Bisons. Rochester has scored eight runs during its four-game losing streak.
Mike Matthews raised his record to 5-3. Rich Batchelor earned his 10th save.
DOUBLE-A EASTERN LEAGUE
Binghamton 3, Bowie 2: Jesus Azuaje hit a bases-empty homer and Pedro Grifol added a two-run blast, as the Mets rallied from a pair of one-run deficits and posted a victory over the visiting Baysox in front of 2,240.
With the Mets trailing 1-0, Azuaje hit his third homer off reliever Rich Kelley (3-1) in the sixth. After Bowie regained the lead, Grifol hit his first of the season off Kelley in the seventh to cap the scoring.
Nelson Figueroa (9-3) gave up two runs and six hits with two walks and seven strikeouts over seven innings in the win. Mark Guerra retired the final batter of the game for his first save.
Jim Foster and Jesse Garcia drove in runs for Bowie, which has lost three of four.

Prince William 6, Frederick 2: The Cannons scored all six runs in the second inning off Chad Paronto to defeat the visiting Keys before 1,956 at Pfitzner Stadium. Paronto (5-4) allowed six runs on 11 hits over seven innings.
