Sykesville: Firefighters from Sykesville, Winfield and two Howard County companies responded to an oil tank fire in the 600 block of Hoods Mill Road at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Units were out two hours.

Sykesville: Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 7300 block of Sykesville Road at 3: 24 a.m. Thursday. Units were out 20 minutes.
