Monitoring TV time Think About It

Many studies show that reading time declines as TV watching goes up - and some show declining reading skills as a result. But pinpointing just how much TV is too much becomes harder. According to Susan Neuman of the University of Lowell in Massachussetts, there is little statistical difference in children's reading skills whether they watch two or three hours of TV a day. But beyond four hours a day, "the effects were negative and increasingly deleterious."
