New positions

Chief financial officer named at Villa Julie

Villa Julie College appointed Timothy M. Campbell chief business and financial officer at the four-year institution in Stevenson. The Millersville resident was an executive search consultant for accounting at A. J. Burton Group's Baltimore office. A Philadelphia native, he is a graduate of Temple University and pursued graduate studies in finance at LaSalle University.

Steele Software Systems Corp. of Baltimore named Carlotta Willard national sales and marketing director. A 22-year veteran of the financial services industry, she was with Minneapolis-based Norwest Corp. for 16 years, most recently as director of consumer loans. A graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., she is active in several professional organizations, including the Bank Marketing Association and the National Association of Female Executives.


Polt joins Warschawski as vice president

Warschawski Public Relations hired Richard Polt as vice president with responsibility for account servicing, including strategic development, media relations, crisis management and new business development. Before coming to the Baltimore agency, he was marketing director for Clipper City Brewing Co., a Baltimore microbrewery. The Bucknell University graduate is also a certified personal trainer. Polt is active in community associations and with alumni activities of the Park School.

Columbia Bank makes 2 key appointments

Columbia Bank named Randy S. Boldyga to the new position of vice president for management information systems and promoted Scott E. Palmer to assistant vice president for the Howard County financial institution.

Boldyga, who has more than a decade of experience in the management information systems industry, is an Arnold resident and graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Palmer, formerly with Citibank, will oversee operations at the bank's Columbia Town Center branch. A Lutherville resident, he is a University of Baltimore graduate and is a master's candidate at the Johns Hopkins University.

MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services named Jacqueline Rieschick director of public relations and advertising, and David L. Porter as a sales associate for the Lutherville brokerage and property management firm.

Rieschick, a George Washington University graduate, was a legislative reporter with Arlington, Va.-based Tax Analysts. Porter, a Towson resident, is a graduate of the London School of Economics and most recently was a project manager with PARVUS International.
