Dog that bit child is sought to gain rabies information

The Anne Arundel County Police Department requested help from the public yesterday to find a dog that bit a child June 19 in the 8200 block of Kramer Court in Glen Burnie.

The boy was on Kramer Court when two dogs that looked like Huskies approached him, the boy told police. One of the dogs, with blue eyes and a red or purple collar, bit him, he said.

Police were hoping to find the owner to determine if the dog has had rabies shots.

Anne Arundel County police, working with officers from the Montgomery County Police Department, arrested two Severn residents Wednesday after a raid at their residence uncovered 1.25 pounds of cocaine and $18,600, authorities said.

Police executed a warrant in a joint operation and raided the home in the 8200 block of Severn Orchard Circle.

Charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine were Beverly Ebanks and Robert Forrester, both 33, police said.

County police were looking yesterday for a man who inquired about mowing the grass before pulling a gun and robbing a Pasadena woman at her Ritchie Highway home on Wednesday morning.

The 67-year-old victim told police that after she declined to have her grass cut, the man walked to a tan vehicle, returned and knocked on her door. When she opened the door to tell the man to leave, he pulled out a blue steel semiautomatic handgun, forced his way into the house and took several items, she reported.

Police said the robber is in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall and stocky. He has dark hair and a mustache and wore a dark blue or black baseball cap, jeans, and a waist-length dark-blue satin jacket with red and yellow stripes on the bottom.
