Southeastern District
Theft/arrest: Officer Glen Peterson was working a burglary detail yesterday when he received information about a man who entered a house in the 2400 block of McElderry St. and stole a videocassette recorder valued at more than $100. Peterson confronted the man, arrested him and recovered the VCR. Charged with theft was Raymond Lee Knox, 34, of no fixed address.
Southwestern District
Burglary: A .44 caliber Ruger handgun with a scope, a .38 caliber revolver and $20, all valued at more than $1,200, were stolen Monday from a house in the 2100 block of Eagle St.
Robbery: A man was in the 4200 block of Frederick Ave. about 6 p.m. Monday when a teen-age male armed with a handgun robbed him of his wallet and $14.
Robbery: A woman was in the 3000 block of Frederick Ave. about 1 a.m. Monday when her ex-boyfriend struck her in the face and robbed her of $500.
Southern District
Theft from vehicle: Tools valued at more than $500 were stolen from a 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck parked Monday in the 100 block of W. Montgomery St.
Eastern District
Robbery: A man, 49, was in the 2000 block of N. Broadway about 10 a.m. Monday when he was assaulted by another man who robbed him of more than $50.
Parkville Precinct
Robbery: A gunman entered the Amoco station in the 9300 block of Harford Road about 1 a.m. yesterday and ordered the attendant to give him the contents of the cash register.
Towson Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a State of Maryland regional employment office in the 1200 block of E. Joppa Road between Friday and Monday and stole two conference tables and three computers.
